ASHANTI AND NELLY CELEBRATE THE OPENING OF "THE WIZ"

Singer Ashanti and rapper boyfriend Nelly celebrated in style at the K Lounge in NY.The party was in aid of Ashanti's starring roleas "Dorothy"in the new Broadway play "The Wiz". The play was originally on Broadway from 1975-1979. The play was then adapted for the big screen, which starred singer Diana Ross as Dorothy and co-starred Michael Jackson as "The Scarecrow". I loved the film staring Diana Ross, I still know all the songs. I might have to"Ease on down the road" (you like the pun lol) to see that play.
