Derek Blanks is a renowned celebrity photographer who has established a name for himself by creating a series of "alter ego" shoots. He takes the perception of a person and recreates that visually in his shoots. Derek hails from Mississippi but resides in Atlanta, US. I'm a huge fan of Dereks work, they look stunning. Alter Ego looks extremely fun to do, i'm just imagining my alter ego, what would yours be?

Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos are the designers behind the Peter Pilotto label. Pilotto is half-Austrian, half-Italian and De Vos is half-Belgian, half-Peruvian. They met whilst studying at Antwerp’s prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts in the year 2000.

Model Rachael Williams is the hottest young THANG to hit the modelling circuit. The UK born model has been busy working on both sides of the Atlantic, from Miami, New York and London. Rachael stepped in to host on behalf of Nia Long for Miss Black Britain.

They are Phillipe Rolano and David Trujillo, also known as Phillipe and David Blond. Launched their label around 5 years ago or about in 2004. Phillipe Blond started his design career as M.A.C make-up artist, while David was a window dresser for stores such as Macy's in New York and Saks Fifth Avenue in Bal Harbour, Fla. Now, The Blonds is famous for their corsetry masterpiece, which are handmade and also one of a kind for each piece. A combination between special-chosen garments embellished with extra amazing details make their collections stand out and become one of the top-choice wear by celebrities nowadays.
I was first introduced to these two designers while watching "Make Me A Supermodel US". There clothes are AMAZING. They have clients from Britney Spears, Rihanna, Debbie Harry, Fergie, Katy Perry and many more. I would just be such a happy woman if I had one of there encrusted corsets. You just look like a godess in them.

I've reached a point in my life where I find that whenever I need to go out I am constantly trying to think of what outfit can I wear without looking the same as everyone else. If I see another Herve Leger inspiredripped off cheap looking body con dress i'm going to scream!!!
I am happy to introduce a design company that I feel has step away from the "norm", but has successfully managed to design a collection that will appeal to a mass audience and introduce that very audience to the style and flavor of West Africa.
Sika Designs is a womenswear fashion label headed up by Phylis Taylor. Phylis's designs are inspired by her Ghanian heritage mixed with her UK, London basedroots. In the collection you can see the obvious use of vibrant colour palettes that chanel the west african landscape. The collection is out together by experienced tailors and seamstesses in Ghana which add to the authenticity of the range.
