STYLE CRUSH: SOLANGE KNOWLES

     

Solange Knowles is really coming into her own with her style game.  I remember when Solange used to be styled in the same generic little body con dresses and slick hair that every other starlet used to wear when she was coming up.  But it looks as though Solange has become completely bored with that look (same here).  Solange has embraced the more afro-centric, retro/vintage inspired look.  From making the decision to shave her hair to wearing African prints mixed with vintage staple pieces, I have a complete "Style Crush" on Solange, LOVE IT!

     

       

STYLE CRUSH: VANESSA HUDGENS "EMBRACING THE 1970S BOHO CHIC"

Actress Vanessa Hudgens has fully been embracing the 70s boho festival look that has hit the runways and has now filtered its way down to the high street.  She looks fun and free in her palazzo pants, crochet knit halter tops, two tiered maxi dresses, floppy hats, wedges and everything else in-between to complete the look.  I know many are very confused as to how to put this look together, as it seems we have been trapped in a cycle of body con dresses for a YEARS! Finally you can be free and relax, without having to suck in your gut due to the restraints of those bloody dresses (which I secretly love!) for at least one season!

   

    

STYLE CRUSH: EVA MARCILLE

Ever since she was introduced to the world as Eva "The Diva" via hit reality TV show, Americas Next Top Model, Eva Marcille has been busy stepping up her fashion game.  I've seen multiple photos of Eva looking "on point", and after much discussion with my fellow home girl (shouts out to Lele) she is officially our Style Crush.  She solidified that fact with the above photo.  We love how she rocked the head scarf (yes my fellow black sisters, she wearing the head scarf outside the house and with pride, SWAG!!)with the Versace pumps, boyfriend blazer, YSL patent shopper and ultra skinny jeans.  Eva KILLED it and I want to raid her wardrobe.  Check out some of the other pieces Eva has been seen looking drop dead gorgeous in.
