AUDIO: MICHAEL JACKSON "THIS IS IT"

 

Superstar Michael Jacksons single entitled "This Is It" was released today. The single was to be used to promote the tour of the samer name from the recently deceased singer.

Michael Jackson's first posthumous single was released today, almost four months after the star died from an overdose of anaesthetic.

The track, This Is It, was delivered to radio stations amid tight security, and began streaming at Michaeljackson.com overnight.

This Is It was to have been the title of Jackson's 50-concert comeback in London, which would have kicked off in the summer had he not died on 25 June at his Hollywood home.

The song begins with orchestral strings as Jackson sings: "This is it, here I stand, I'm the light of the world, I feel grand."

Jackson spends the next three minutes talking about love.
