MOVIES: "PRECIOUS", "AMERICAN VIOLET" AND "THE LENA BAKER STORY"

Every now and then the movie world really does put out some amazing films that you have to go and see. Here are three that I cant wait to come out.

Precious

"Precious" is based on a novel originally entitled "Push". Its stars comedien Mo'Nique, singer Mariah Carey and new comer Gabourey 'Gabby' Sidibe.

American Violet

This stars Alfre Woodard (Desperate Housewives) Nicole Baherie and rapper Xhibit. A single African-American mother struggles to clear her name after being wrongly accused and arrested for dealing drugs in an impoverished town in Texas.

The Lena Baker Story

The Lena Baker Story stars Tichina Arnold (Everybody Hates Chris) A chronicle of the life of Lena Baker, the first woman to be sent to the electric chair in Georgia for the murder of her employer, who forced her into sexual slavery
