ELTON JOHN HOST HIS ANNUAL "WHITE TIE BALL", SINGS TRIBUTE SONG TO MICHAEL JACKSON

Elton John held his annual "White Tie Ball" yesterday. A flock of celebrities turned for the event, which is has become the society event of the summer. The event was overshadowed by the death of pop sensation, Michael Jackson. In tribute to the star, Elton John sand "Don't let the sun go down on me". The stars in attendance included, Liz Hurley and husband Arun Nayar, Lily Allen, Ronnie Wood and girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova, Hugh Grant and Boris Becker. More notably, popstar Justin Timerlake who is heavily influenced by Michael Jackson was also at the ball. His face looked very forlorn as he was told of the news. He later had this to say......

'He has been an inspiration to multiple generations and I will always cherish the moments I shared with him on stage and all of the things I learned about music from him and the time we spent together.”
