THE FIRST HIGH STREET "FASHION WEEK" TO BE LAUNCHED ON OXFORD STREET

It was announced today that Oxford Street will host the first high street fashion week. Starting on Monday 7th September, retail brands such as Topman, Debenhams, Uniqlo have already signed up to take part. Other retailers like Miss Selfridge, Topshop, Selfridges and Marks & Spencer are still in talks to take part in the show. In August, 100,000 shoppers will be asked which celebrity is their "High Street Queen". The celebrity selected as the winner will be used to front the campaign for the promotion of the fashion week. Other events will include workshops, fashion shows, make overs, late-night shopping and in-store promotions.
