BABYPHAT FACE BANKRUPTCY

The clothing company that owns Baby Phat have had to file for bankruptcy. Kelliwood Co clothing company which also owns Phat Farm, XOXO, and Sag Harbour. Phat Fashions was co-founded by hip hop impresario Russell Simmons and sold to Kelliwood for $140 million in 2004. Kimora Lee Simmons, Russells former wife, will retain her position as "principle creative arbiter" for Baby Phat.
