ANTM YAYA TO STAR IN UGLY BETTY

Cycle 3 runner up of America's Next Top Model Yaya Dacosta has landed a role in the top comedy/drama "Ugly Betty". Yaya is to play Wilehmena Slaters (Vanessa Williams)daughter in coming episodes. The rols was previously played by actress Jowharah Jones back in 2006.

DaCosta has spent the past year strengthening her acting chops as Cassandra Foster on the soap "All My Children." She should be primed and ready-to-go for all of "Ugly Betty's" over-the-top campiness(SOURCE)

Yaya has been on quite a few shows displaying her acting skills.  I hope she does well, Ugly Bettys a good look for her.
