ALL THE LONDON FASHION WEEK FOOLISHNESS HAS TO STOP

Designer Mark Fast collection showing at London Fashion Week.  He used a mixture of plus sized and "conventional" models in his show.

It always amazes me that the city I live in really like to push the idea to the rest of the world that we live in some sort of tolerant wonderful society, where we are the leading city of europe for breaking barriers in race and size. 

Yet when London Fashion Week comes by hardly any models of race are used (PPQ are the only designers to have used an all black model show) and now there has been a huge "bust up" on the first day, backstage at the Mark Fast fashion show.  A stylist was so "disgusted" by the fact that designer Mark Fast decided to use plus size models (size 12 and 14) on his runway show, that he/she (no name disclosed by the press just yet) decided to drop out at the last minute, leaving designer Mark Fast to get another stylist in at the last minute.

When he told his design team that his figure-hugging outfits would be paraded down the runway by size 12 and 14 models, two of his people were apparently so angry they quit. 
The stylist and creative designer deserted Fast, 28, just three days before Saturday's event at the University of Westminster.The show was only saved after freelancers Daniela Agnelli and Natalie Hubbarb stepped in to help Fast, working into the early hours to ensure all the designs were ready for the big day.Happily, it was a great success, with three models from the agency 12+ UK gracing the catwalk.(SOURCE)

I feel like the stylist should be named and shamed.  They were actually given clothes to fit a size 12-14 model, so what is there problem.  The fact that he/she was so disgusted by this can only mean that you don't know how to do your job properly actually putting an outfit together.  I could understand the stylist leaving if they were given size 8 clothing to put on a size 14 model, clearly you can't work like that, but you leaving because you were "disgusted" at a person who is a size 12 is ridiculous and totally unprofessional, this stylist should not be allowed to work for any designer again.  IDIOT.

These are the size 12 and 14 models.  I dont about you, but they look stunning to me.

 

These girls are the smaller sized models, who look just as good.  This goes to prove that you can have the more conventional models modelling along side the plus size girls and the clothes still look HOT!
