 This story looks like its just picking up pace.  Everyone is mud slinging and the claws are coming out, Jeez!

Amelle Berrabah hit her Twitter page yesterday to defend herself over the recent departure of her former bandmate, Keisha Buchanan. 

ORIGINAL STORY

The story originally hit the headlines over the fact that Amelle had disapeared for about a week with no-one knowing where she was.  During that time reports had surface that she had vanished due to the fact that she was being bullied by Keisha Buchanan.

In another twist to the story the former UK Eurovision entry Jade Ewen replaced Keisha almost immeidatly, not even Jades former record label knew about this as she flew out to L.A to record her re-record over Keisha vocals on the new album and to feature in the new Sugababe video. http://www.thelalareport.com/jhome/2009/9/23/new-sugababe-line-up-shoot-video.html

Since then the battlelines have been drawn with fomer bandmates taking sides.  Both original Sugababes have made statements about Keisha leaving.  Siobhan Donaghy has gone on record as saying "There was no doubt that I was pushed out. It was clear that there was someone in that band who never wanted me in it and that’s Keisha. She never wanted me in that band and made my life a living hell. I’ll never forgive her. Though no-one forgives that first bully in their lives, do they? No-one does" (SOURCE)

Mutya Buena however is sticking up for Keisha by saying  "I've only spoken to Keisha," she admitted, "Personally, I don't think the Sugababes is the Sugababes anymore. It would have been different if Keisha had stayed and someone else had gone – then it would be Sugababes. But, you know, now there's no original Sugababes." Asked how she felt about Keisha being booted out, Mutya admitted, "I'm quite disappointed. Obviously the brand name of the Sugababes will always carry on, but to say there's no original in the Sugababes, it just kinda puts it down a bit." She was also quick to slam the bullying rumours as "rubbish", telling Lorraine, "I heard the rumours about Keisha being a bully, but that's all lies. The reason people have left is not to do with bullying. They're all grown women! I would never let another person bully me. I think it's all rubbish."(SOURCE)

Mutya has also come out and slammed Hiedi Range "It all started so innocently...a love for music and a dream...look what its become. RIP. I will say this publicly... shame on Heidi for not following Keisha out. But doesn't surprise me a bit."(SOURCE)

Mutya has also said “It’s just so wrong. I phoned Keisha as soon as I heard what had happened…She is my friend. We grew up together. And it’s all been so harsh on her. She’s been really upset. But do you know what? She’ll pick herself up and realise that she is best off out of it…If the people you work with don’t show you the respect you deserve then you shouldn’t work with them. The music industry is full of snakes and sharks and Keisha had to work with two of the biggest snakes.”(SOURCE)

I thought this would have been the last of the insults but Amelle and Jade have come back fighting.  Amelle who is said to be in fear of her life due to the nasty messages that have been left for her on Twitter, decided to try to give her side of the story (although she really didnt say too much)

Jade Ewen also had something to say, then deleted her Twitter account after posting

The new line up Sugababes have also done there first interview with Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills.

Chatting to Scott Mills on Radio 1, an excited-sounding (seriously, she was giggling like a crazy person) Jade said, "It was all a bit crazy. At the end of last week I got a call was was told to be prepared... It was fun! It was exciting." Jade was picked up at her home at 5am on the Friday and told she was boarding a plane to LA, but it wasn't until Sunday that she found out exactly what was going on. Happy to abandon her solo career for the time being, Jade told Scott she's now "focused on the group", joking, "Now I'm a Sugababe, it's all glamorous." Naturally, Scott soon got onto the subject of Keisha's departure, and it was Amelle who tried explain. "It was happening for a long time," she admitted. "We couldn't try anymore. We couldn't do anymore...but we wish Keisha all the best." A slightly more upset sounding Heidi then told Scott in a shaky voice, "The past week's been a week from hell. It was a tough time. It just got to that point, and life's too short – you've got to be happy. I made the right choice morally, by siding with Amelle." Heidi denied rumours that it was her who orchestrated the ultimatum, calling it "completely not true" and finished by saying, "We've got a lot of things to prove, and we're excited to get started."(SOURCE)

This is better than Jerry Springer.  I think that they should just have an out and out brawl and whoever comes out alive wins.  My bets on Mutya, she looks like she can throw DOWN! lol
