VIDEO: WHITNEY HOUSTON "I LOOK TO YOU"

New video from the Diva of all Divas, Whitney Houston.  The track in called "I Look To You" from the album of the same name.  She looks the picture of health in this video, i hope she does well.  If you don't know already, Whitney has given a candid with talk show queen Oprah Winfrey.  She talks about her marriage with Bobby Brown, her drug addiction and how she was able to get herself clean.

Houston, who is making a music comeback after seven years, told Winfrey in an interview yesterday that she and Brown took cocaine and marijuana during their marriage.

The pair divorced in April 2007 after 15 years together and Houston has custody of their teenage daughter, Bobbi Christina.(SOURCE)

KANYE WEST APPOLOGISES ON JAY LENO

 

Ohhhhh too much Couvoisier can make you do the most DUMB things, as Kanye West is now finding out.

The rapper made and appearance on the Jay Leno for a performance with Jay-Z and Rihanna for there track "Run This Town".  Before the performance he sat down with Jay to try to explain his FOOLISH actions during the MTV Video Music Awards.

The singer took it upon himself to interrupt country and western singer Taylor Swift as she was trying to accept her award.  Kanye took her mic and proclaimed that R&B singer Beyonce should have won the awards instead.  Kanye has since come under a barrage of criticism for the outburst from the media and his fellow celebrity peers.

Kanyes appeared tearful on the Jay Leno show when he was invited on to explain himself.  He blames the outbrust on the death of his mother Dr Donda West.  She passed away tragically during a surgical operation.

I feel bad for Kanye because he genuinely does seem like he's still mourning over his mothers death.  But I don't excuse his behaviour at all. He should take some time out and deal with whatever emotions he's dealing with so that he can concentrate on what he's really good at, making music.  Maybe this was the wake up call he needed in order to go get some help.  Kanye it's o.k to grieve, take the time out to do so.

PEACHES GELDOF DOES "ALICE IN WONDERLAND"

Peaches Geldof does a fashion shoot for Company Magazine as Alice from childrens novel "Alice In Wonderland".  The daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates featured in the shoot alongside other celebs including Vernon Kaye, Matthew Horne and Michelle Ryan.  Does anyone know what this girl does????  The photos look cool, but I'm still baffled as to what she actually does.

"SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE" COMES TO THE UK

Choreographer Arlene Phillips becomes a judge for the british version of "So You Think You Can Dance"

I'm a huge fan of this show and now the show is coming to the UK shores.  It was announced today that the show will be coming to your screens via the BBC.  Former "Strictly Come Dancing" judge Arlene Phillips was named as one of the judges on the show.

She will join head judge Nigel Lythgoe, who is best known as Nasty Nigel for his appearances on ITV's Popstars series, which made stars of Hear'Say.

For the new show amateur and professional dancers from around the country will compete for the title of Britain's Favourite Dancer next January.

Phillips said: 'So You Think You Can Dance is a dancer's dream. This show can be the making of the artists competing in it.

'I've always supported dance talent and look forward to seeing the most promising developing before our eyes each week(SOURCE)

I'm just hoping that the show will be of the same standard as the US version.  I really dont want it to be like "Britains Top Model" which is sub standard compared to "Americas Next Top Model".  Also the size of the US alone means that amount and level of dancers may put the UK version to shame.  I'm hoping for the best with this show, but expecting the worse.
