New US three piece girl group called "Sophia Fresh" are making some serious noise Stateside.  Having collaborated with the award winning singer/producer T-Pain, for their debut single called "The Instant", which features on the soundtrack for the smash hit movie "Step Up 3D".  Having signed to Atlantic records, the girls showcase a funky, dance inspired track in their single "The Instant".  "Sophia Fresh" comprises of Skye, Crystal and Cole Rose, expect to see more from the ladies in the very near future.

London based singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran has got MAD SKILLS. He blew me away with this acoustic version of his new single "You Need Me, I Don't Need You".  I was introduced to Ed while listening to him being interviewed and performing on actor Jamie Foxx's radio show , The Foxxhole.  If Ed can manage to impress the members of the Foxxhole (which he did) then this boy is definitely "one to watch".  Like how he fits a slice of "In da Club" and Jamie Foxx/Justin Timberlakes track "Winner" in his acoustic freestyle of his single.  Check out his performance and interview with Jamie.

I've met some pretty amazing people while doing my rounds in this industry, but I was blown away by a singer who I met in December.  I had no clue who the young lady was, as I was to busy looking at the amazing retro KILLER leather jacket she had on.  The South London "devil" in me kept saying "we should just grab that sh@t and run" (lol) but the South London "angel" in me kept saying "Girl, that ain't the way forward".  Instead I asked the lady for a photo so that I could feature her and "said" leather jacket in my "Street Style" section.  She happily obliged and I felt AWFUL about having thoughts of "jackin" the chick as she was so nice.  Once I added her to my "Street Style" article, I got an email  telling me "Hey Miss Lala, that girl with THE jacket is a singer called Jessie J, the girl can SANG! You need to listen to her!  With this new found information, I went to Jessie's myspace page to see if she was the real deal.  To my surprise, I found this funny Essex girl with great fashion sense singing the HECK out of tracks that she had written herself.  She blew me away! I know she's going to be one to watch in 2010.  Jessie has just signed to Island Records in the Uk and Republic in the US (Universal)

Having already worked with the likes of Ryan Leslie and with sports giants Adidas claiming he''s the artist "About To Blow".  Bluey Robinson looks as though he's about to do big things.  Check out his video for his new single called "I Know"

You may not of heard of her name before, but i'm sure you know her very famous god-mother, Amy Winehouse.  The young lady in the picture is Dionne Bromfield and the first signing to Amy Winehouses label Lioness Records (www.lionessrecord.com).  Dionne is set to release her first album on October 12th called "Introducing Dionne Bromfield".  Check out the video of Dionne below.
